2 golds on EC for ZRC

Sandrine Tas - one of the 4 members of ZRC participating at the European Championships in San Benedetto del Tronto - won the golden medal on the 5K pointsrace (road) in the cadettes girls serie. She had exactly as many points as the Italian girl Villa, but has beaten her in the final sprint. Felbinger (Ger) took the bronze.

Sandrine was already twice on the podium before during the track championships (silver 3K points, bronze 5K elimination).

Her 2 year older brother Siemen did almost a copy/paste half an hour later. He won the 10K points race and took his first medal of the tournament. No Italians nor French guys on the podium, quiet remarkable after they dominated most of the races before. It was Danish dynamite Stefan Due Schmidt who took the silver, Livio Wenger for Switserland the bronze.

Congrats to the two ZRC members who will - of course - participate next week at the FGP.
